Technion EMI Teaching Workshop

The Writing Center at the Department of Humanities and Arts and Technion International invite Technion professors and lecturers to register for a workshop designed to help you prepare and teach courses in English as part of the internationalization strategy of the Technion and the CHE (MALAG) English reform.

Dr. Elena Mizrahi from the Department of Humanities and Arts at the Technion will provide practical advice and tips for English Medium Instruction (EMI), including how to teach and evaluate students whose first language isn’t English and how to manage heterogeneous classrooms (with students from different backgrounds). Dr. Mizrahi will use a variety of tools, including AI applications, to help lecturers create a 21st-century teaching and learning experience in English.

Workshop #1 will be held on Thursday 28.12.23 from 13:00 - 16:00 via ZOOM
