Technion EMI Teaching Workshop (for Lecturers and Teaching Assistants)

The Writing Center at the Department of Humanities and Arts and Technion International invites Technion lecturers and teaching assistants to register for a workshop designed to help you prepare and teach courses in English as part of the internationalization strategy of the Technion and the CHE (MALAG) English reform.

Dr. Elena Mizrahi from the Department of Humanities and Arts at the Technion will provide practical advice and tips for English Medium Instruction (EMI), including how to teach and evaluate students whose first language isn’t English and how to manage heterogeneous classrooms (with students from different backgrounds). Dr. Mizrahi will demonstrate various strategies and tools, including AI applications, to help you create a 21st-century teaching and learning experience in English.

Workshops will be held on Sunday 3.3.24 and Sunday 10.3.24 from 10:30 - 12:00 (via ZOOM or on campus - please mark your preference in the registration form)
